Coaching

Coaching is a form of personal support on the basis of an equal, one-to-one relationship. The aim of coaching is to make someone function better. Appreciating people and situations, increasing self-knowledge, tact, timing, a positive fundamental attitude and balance are examples of skills that can be developed. For this purpose coaching is a useful method.

In a coaching programme you will be supported in your answering questions regarding your ambitions, your personal effectiveness and the development of your skills. We pay attention to your personal functioning and the possibilities for change. You will (re)discover and develop your own talents and skills. In this way you will get a grip on your own behaviour and the way you act based on this behaviour. Along with this insight your effectiveness will increase.

Method

The coaching programme consists of several steps. The first step is an interview to get to know one another, during which we will explain to you the programme to follow. Further, your personal wishes are inventoried. Following this we make a concrete proposition regarding the contents and the process of the coaching programme. Based on this proposition it is decided whether or not we launch a coaching programme together.

When we have reached a positive agreement, the second phase begins. Together with you the programme and your expectations are discussed, targets are set and the duration of the process is determined. In consultation with the coach, the possibilities and impossibilities are discussed and the contents of the coaching are worked out. Normally a coaching programme consists of six to eight sessions. These sessions may take up 1.5 hours, sometimes more.

The coach will help you to achieve the results you have in mind. It is our intention that you get moving: you are learning and your coach is supporting this learning process.
